Dutchman Jorrell Hato chosen by Chelsea fans as April's player of the month for 2026 receiving the award for the first time  The Blues defender has slowly grown in stature since arriving at Stamford Bridge from Ajax as he adapted to English football in his debut premier league campaign.  This also saw him named in the Blues starting line up for all three of  the Blues league fixtures in April, playing every minute in every competition, featuring at centre-back in the Blues games against Manchester City and Manchester United at Stamford Bridge before being deployed at left back for the Blues away game against Brighton and Hove Albion.  Hato was also involved for a full 90 minutes in the Blues 7-0  FA Cup quarter final win over Port Vale  with the Dutchman netting his second goal in a Blues shirt to open the scoring less than two minutes into the match.
