Tuchel believes that homegrown players at Chelsea can make the step up into the first team such as Reece James and Callum Hudson-Odoi Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel insists that it is important that Chelsea have an identity with the homegrown players at the heart of Chelsea's team and believes that the quality is there for this to be achieved. When asked about the importance of the club producing youngsters during his media press conference to preview the game against Tottenham and he responded with praise of both the physical and technical qualities he has seen from the academy graduates in Chelsea's team, as well the mentality adopted to rise to any challenges. With the likes of Mason Mount, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Tammy Abraham have featured in both of Tuchel's games in charge , whilst Reece James made an appearance of the bench during the victory over Wolves over the weekend.  Tuchel stated ' the guys we have here currently it has been a pleasure to work with them.
