Chelsea players return to Cobham ahead of Burnley

Chelsea's players returned back to Cobham today with focus quickly turning to Saturday's game at home to Burnley



















After the Blues secured their place in the fifth round of the FA cup with an away trip to North Wales to face Wrexham following their 4-0 away to Hull City in the fourth round on Friday evening, the players were granted some time to refresh and recharge ahead of Saturday's game. 

Next up for the Blues is the visit of Burnley with Chelsea having beaten the Clarets 2-0 in the reverse fixture at Turf Moor with goals from Pedro Neto and Enzo Fernandez.

Reporting back to Cobham today, the Blues worked hard in the gym before heading out onto the grass. 

Amongst the Chelsea players pictured at training were Moises Caicedo and Joao Pedro with the pair seen embracing each other at the training ground, alongside the likes of Trevoh Chalobah, Wesley Fofana, Reece James and Cole Palmer. 

Benoit Badiashile, Robert Sanchez, Alejandro Garnacho and Liam Delap were amongst others pictured working hard at Cobham.

Chelsea team to face Barnsley

As indicated yesterday head coach Thomas Tuchel hands starts for today's game to Kepa Arrizabalaga, N'Golo Kante, Hakim Ziyech and Billy Gilmour. There is also a start under Tuchel for the first time for Kurt Zouma who partners Andreas Christensen at the heart of the Chelsea defence. there are also selections for Emerson and Marcos Alonso.  Tammy Abraham leads the attack for the Blues with both Christian Pulisic and Callum Hudson-Odoi included in the starting line-up. Two midfielders from the academy, Tino Anjorin and Lewis Bate are amongst the substitutions for todays game. For the hosts Barnsley they have former Chelsea academy player Bradley Collins in goal, just like they did for when Chelsea beat Barnsley 6-0 in the Carabao Cup win earlier this season.
