Robert Sanchez's thoughts following Chelsea's draw away at Bournemouth
If you can't win then don't lose says Blues shot-stopper
Blues goalkeeper Robert Sanchez recognised that Chelsea were not at their best at the Vitality stadium against Bournemouth however, Sanchez was able to take some satisfaction from keeping, with Alejandro Garnacho striking the post a clean sheet that he contributed heavily towards.
It finished goalless at the Vitality stadium in a contest where the Cherries started the game out on top however, Chelsea grew into and looked to be favourites to win as the game went on.
Sanchez made some crucial stops particularly in the first half with Alejandro Garnacho striking the post and former Blues goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic doing well to keep out an effort from Pedro Neto.
In the end both sides had to settle for a share of the points which Sanchez reflected on afterwards.

The Spaniard said ' yes of course there is sense of disappointment that we were not able to get the win.'
Having lost our last game in midweek, we wanted to redeem ourselves and pick up three points and to keep a clean sheet. We created chances and we played well. However, we did not get a goal, however we managed to keep a clean sheet and did not lose the game and that is the important thing.
If you are not able to win the game then it is important that you do not lose it and that's what we were able to do. We will take the point and look to get three points in our next game.
Sanchez also explained how Chelsea were able to manage the game and ensured that the Blues dominated in the second half however, the Spaniard needed to be at his best to stop an Antoine Semenyo effort from a rare moment that Bournemouth attacked.
Sanchez further added by saying ' I did not have much to do in the opening 20 minutes of the second half , but you know with a player of Semenyo's quality that he is going to have a shot from anywhere at any moment and so I had to be ready and I was.'
'Bournemouth are a fantastic team, In the first 20 minutes to half an hour they came out with a lot of intensity. We needed to ensure that we dealt with the intensity and ensure that we managed the situation both on and off the ball and then monitor to see how the game would go. We did that well and we were able to manage the game.'
Sanchez further added by saying ' As a team we know what our goal is, we know that we have the quality and we want to do as best as we can. We need to make sure that we keep going and try to get as many wins as we possibly can, to do this we will need to keep grinding and picking up some wins.'
The Blues next game is a champions league clash away against Atalanta on Tuesday night before hosting Everton at Stamford Bridge in the league next Saturday.
