Netflix recommendations from Thiago Silva

Are you bored or out of ideas of what to watch during lockdown? don't worry we've called on Thiago Silva to help?

With many people around the world stuck at home due to the global pandemic, with the bitterly cold weather across much of Europe and North America has provided many with good reasons to stay on the sofa at this current moment. But don't worry help is on hand as Thiago Silva gives his recommendations on what to watch on Netflix in order to pass the time.

1) Prison Break

"I really enjoyed watching this"

The Brazilian begins with the classic five season epic first released in 2005, yes it's Prison Break the series which centres around the world of two brothers, one of whom has been sentenced to death unfairly. The other brother sets about planning an escape job, with the result a thrilling adventure which brings back memories of Shawshank Redemption and The Great Escape.

2) Designated Survivor

"This would be number one for me."

Thiago Silva's favourite show is a political thriller drama which is all about a man who is unexpectedly thrust into the role of the US president after a bomb explosion kills everyone who was ahead of him the line to become the US president.

The three seasons proved to be a huge hit with actor Kiefer Sutherland playing the main role in the fast paced drama.

3) The Walking Dead

Thiago Silva's third and final choice is yet another another box series, this one though is based on a comic book by the exact same name. The Walking Dead is set in a gruesome post-apocalyptic world with zombies, referred to as walkers, roaming around with the intent to attack the last remaining survivors on planet earth.

With the internal strife from within, in some ways this show has feeling of the first two picked by Thiago Silva! The 11th season is due to launch soon with 2022 set to bring a tale to this conclusion.
