Baba Rahman loaned to Greek outfit PAOK

Chelsea defender Baba Rahman has completed his loan move to Greek side PAOK


Baba Rahman  completed a loan move to Greek side PAOK for the rest of the campaign.

Having just recovered from injury the 26 year old left-back has appeared on numerous occasions for Chelsea's youth development squad this season however, will move overseas for more first team football. 

Rahman joined Chelsea in 2015 from German side Augsburg and in his debut season at Stamford Bridge made 23 appearances. 

The campaign which followed was spent on loan at Schalke which the Ghanaian international featured in prominently before suffering a cruciate ligament injury to his knee in the African Cup of Nations kept him sidelined for a year He returned to Schalke in January 2018 where he made five appearances before switching to Reims in France a year later , where he played in 11 games.

In September 2019, the defender completed a season-long loan move to newly promoted La Liga side Real Mallorca , where once again injuries restricted him to a handful of appearances. 

The club he has been out on loan to PAOK are very well know to Chelsea supporters for our Europa league games against them in 2018. They currently sit in fourth place in the Greek Super League table.
