'It was the complete performance both in attach and in defence.' he said.
'We needed to be sure that we were physically strong against the long balls and the aerial duels.' You need to be aware of he second balls which fly behind your back.'
'We worked together as a team, the three centre backs along with the two sixes were outstanding , We applied active defending and were never passive.
'The two guys out wide put in a lot of effort to provide support to our three players up front ensuring we did not allow Burnley to be more precise. We only faced one shot which is outstanding.
'We never at the same time, lost patience with the ball. We were in complete control of the game. We created lots of chances, played a good game high up the pitch and had a good counter press.'
'There were many good things which I saw out on the pitch and for that reason I am very happy to have got this well deserved win.'

Tuchel gave an explanation of the start of Marcos Alonso and delivers his verdict on his performance |
Speaking on Alonso Tuchel said 'There was a reason for this. It wasn't because we were unhappy with Ben Chilwell. I just opted to go for a bit more size for defending set pieces and I know during the time of Antonio Conte that Marcos is more used to playing in this position. His timing for arriving in the box is perfect.'
'We were extremely happy that he was able to score the second goal which secured the win for us. It is never easy when you have not played for a while , he played very well.'

Tuchel explained the selection of Marcos Alonso for today's game against Burnley |
On this Tuchel stated 'If we are able to find a starting XI which can guarantee us 20 wins in a row in the league then we will not change. This is very unlikely to happen and we need everybody.
'I am only a few days in and a decision was made late to revert to a back three and keep two number sixes because of the impact we expect from Burnley.'
'We applied some changes offensively to beat them , as well as having different players and personalities on the pitch, whilst at the same time providing opportunities for everyone to play in competitions.'
'Every player in their own right can start for us because I am happy with the intensity, quality and devotion shown in training. It's either very difficult to select or it's very easy as I can give everyone the opportunity to play.'
Werner played in inside-left position and after break as a central striker

Tuchel explained switching Timo Werner in the second half from an inside-left position to a central striker |
Speaking on Timo Werner Tuchel said, He is totally into it and always gives 100%. Every striker is sensitive and there is nothing which more than when he is scoring goals.
'As long as he is able to provide an impact and tries and works hard like he did today we will continue to support him. We missed an opportunity to utilise him in counter-attacks . This is a key strength of his along with his speed.'
'We need to improve and bring him into situations where he can be decisive for us, at the same time he was confident in playing, however, it is not something you can demand. He needs to work hard and hopefully he can find a goal one metre in front of the goal line, or maybe a shot takes a deflection of his knee I guarantee you he will find that extra one percent.'
